About Knife Making Courses

Knife Making Courses lists forges across the UK that teach people to make their own knife, from one-day Viking knife courses to week-long Damascus classes.

You can compare courses by what you'll make, how it's made, how long you'll spend at the anvil and the group size, then enquire or book directly with the forge. We don't take a booking fee.

How listings work

• We only list courses where you make a knife (axe and sword courses are listed when the forge teaches knives too).
• Facts come from each forge's own website, and forges can claim their listing to correct them.
• Listings are free for forges. Forges can pay for a Featured listing or a banner; these are always labelled Featured.
• We don't rank forges by opinion. Lists show Featured forges first, then the rest in alphabetical order or by distance.
